This show has all lot of many the students who have class here. Many of the students I have had
class with and have worked with for a while. I really like the juried show because
I get to see in one place many of the work that other students have been
working on. I got to see a lot of the art and graphic design classes that I am
not in anymore and now I can see what others are doing. I got to see some of
the independent digital work by Greg and Jill. I really enjoyed Greg’s
printmaking flat plane giraffe.
I also like Jill’s work, especially her interactive
picture slide called tomorrows past. Where she made a slide out of the kid
slide viewer and had pictures of herself now juxtaposed with her as a child. I
also like the interactive marble slide made by Courtney. Luz had her story
about a little octopus that she made last semester. All of these works are very
different and I enjoy seeing how each artist grows in their style and in
different ideas.
